& BRAND IDENTITY

CLIENT STUDY: THE CYNICAL SCHNAUZER; BROOKLYN, NEW YORK

Retained by founder to create brand identity and spatial & experience design. Deliverables included: name, logo, graphic assets, typography language, interiors, music design, social media content creation, and social partnerships.

Partnered with founder and nominated architect for build out of space, moving on to execute interior design and spatial styling. Collaborative direction inspired by Weimar era salons and communal gathering spaces. The interior centered around a 10 seat poured concrete table with custom silk velvet curtain. A 10 seat custom lacquered oak bar anchored the end of the space. Reclaimed French card tables with bistro chairs filled the remaining space.
Vintage barware sourced internationally and assigned by menu item.
Tabletops and sconces filled with seasonal fresh flowers to reflect seasonal menu changes.
Featured in the New York Times, Brooklyn Magazine, Eater, New York Magazine, and named ‘Best New Restaurant’ by TimeOut NY March 2016.
